Personal Branding Anyone?

I was recently approached by someone about offering “personal branding solutions” at SSS for Success (EASY Brand Marketing Specialists) to individuals looking to brand their names online, and I’d like to extend the idea to include both aspiring and published authors.

By leveraging skills in IT/web design, market research, and search engine marketing, I will help authors enhance their brand in a way that increases their online visibility and attracts new readers.

Since published authors usually have a different set of needs than their aspiring counterparts, I’ve also created the “Authors SEO Special“.  This special (also available for $150) is geared towards authors who already have an established online presence, but are in need of “sharpening” their online image.  It includes a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Analysis Report of a current website and/or blog, with recommendations for enhancing a personal brand; a 60-minute Technology and Social Media Consultation, which is used in combination with the SEO Report to find out what improvements can be made, and finally a 30-60 Day SEO Action Plan which gives a step-by-step self-directed guide on how to leverage social media and digital marketing tools to enhance a personal brand and what search engines find.

In talking with several published authors, I found that there seems to be a need for a “social media street team” to build publicity and buzz around their book about 60 days before the launch date, in addition to a need to attract an audience and keep them engaged in-between published works. The Small Business Branding Tips Podcast Series

Hello and Welcome to the blog post introducing our first podcast for Small Business EASY Branding Tips, brought to you by SSS for Success (EASY Brand Marketing Specialists).

As the creator of the EASY Brand Marketing Program, I thank you for interest in this blog and hope you’ll enjoy listening to the very first podcast of the series.

I started SSS for Success (EASY Brand Marketing Specialists) because I saw a true need for the varied services that became part of the EASY Brand Marketing Program.  As I got out and talked to people about what I do, I found that people who worked in places that sought to help small business owners, like Small Business Development Centers and Business Incubation Centers got what I was doing, but when I talked to small business owners themselves, I would often receive the “deer in headlights” look or a blank stare that told me that I needed to spend more time actually educating small biz owners on the need for branding (especially in the early stages) and how each of the steps of the EASY Brand Marketing Program are actually cost effective in the long- and short-term.  I also wanted to show how the results of incorporating the program early on actually improves your business because it brings you the increased sales that you need to help you stay in business for a long time to come. 

I decided to create this blog and podcast series, because I wanted a platform to share weekly EASY Brand Marketing Tips, and hopefully help small business owners in the process.
